Laney Media runs this site and the free marketing audit offered on it. In this policy, we and us mean Laney Media. You means the person using the site or requesting an audit.

What We Collect
We collect 3 kinds of information.
- What you give us. Your name, email address, social media handle, business details, and anything else you type into the audit form or send us by email.
- What your account shows publicly. When you ask for an audit, we look at the public posts, captions, and analytics on the account you name. We only look at what your platform already shows, plus anything you send us yourself.
- What your browser reports. Standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you open, and the site that sent you here.
We don't ask for payment details on this site. The free audit costs nothing.

We use your information to:
- Run the audit you asked for and send you the result.
- Reply to your questions and book a call if you want one.
- Send you follow up email about your audit and our services. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Keep the site working and see which pages people actually read.
We don't make automated decisions that carry a legal effect for you.

Cookies And Analytics
This site uses cookies to keep the page working and to count visits. We use the Meta Pixel so we can measure which ads bring people to the audit, and our own measurement, which counts page views, time on the page and which questions people answer.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, though some parts may behave differently.

Screenshots And Client Results
Client confidentiality is incredibly important to us. We work with extremely large and public businesses that require anonymity and privacy.
Any result we publish is fully anonymized, and we agree to non-disclosure of our clients’ names, accounts, or any identifying information. Before a screenshot goes up we strip the names, the handles, the profile photos, and any face in the frame. What is left is the numbers.

How Long We Keep It
We keep audit applications for 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where it stopped. We keep email records for as long as you stay subscribed, plus 12 months.
Ask us to delete your information sooner and we will, unless the law makes us keep it.

You can ask us to:
- Send you a copy of what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your information.
- Stop sending you marketing email.
Email hello@wearelaneymedia.com and we respond within 30 days. If you live in California, the European Union, or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under your local law, and we honor them.

This site is for people running businesses. It isn't for children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child sent us something, email us and we delete it.

We update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top of the page tells you when we last touched it. Big changes get an email to anyone on our list.
